Ford's Fabian Coulthard has claimed pole position for the Supercars season-opening race in Adelaide.
Coulthard clocked one minute, 19.89 seconds to be fastest in the top 10 shootout ahead of Holden's seven-time series champ Jamie Whincup and defending series champion Scott McLaughlin.
The season opening 78-lap race starts at 1715 AEDT.
