SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico – The Auburn women’s golf team wrapped up their fall season Sunday, tying for fifth place at the inaugural Battle at the Beach.
The Tigers shot a final-round 290 (+6) to finish at 870 (+18) for the week, tied with Houston. Top-ranked UCLA took the team title at 839 (-13) after a 12-under round Sunday to overtake second-round leader Oklahoma.
Auburn freshman Mychael O’Berry, playing as an individual, posted the top round by a Tiger Sunday with a 1-under-par 70. O’Berry recorded five birdies on the day to finish with her first under-par round in college.
