AUBURN, Ala. – Perfect.
I’m certainly not that. Not by a long shot, but back in September, Gridiron Now asked me to predict how Alabama and Auburn would fare this regular season game-by-game.
OK. I’ll give it shot, I thought. Didn’t expect to bat .1000, but figured I’d do OK.
Twenty-four games later, I finished 23-1.
Looks good, but I’m not sticking my chest out over this. This doesn’t mean I’m a great sports columnist or know all there is to know about Auburn football, Alabama football or college football.
I just had a hunch about a few things going into the season.
