I remember the first time I saw him play on Pat Dye Field, you knew there was something special about this young man. It was more than an ability to play, although he certainly had that. There was something about the way he carried himself; something about the way he interacted with his teammates, coaches, the fans, and the media.
He entertained us, he inspired us, he helped pull a fractured team and (Auburn Family) together and in so doing Kodi Burns was as responsible as anyone for bringing the 2010 National Championship to Auburn.
