AUBURN, Ala. –Senior Caitlin Atkinson of the No. 6 Auburn gymnastics team was honored by the SEC Tuesday and named Co-Gymnast of the Week for the second time this season.
In her final meet in Auburn Arena this past Friday, the Houston product put together her best performance of the season, capturing all event titles on her way to a season-high 39.725 in the all-around. It was her fourth all-around title of the year.
Atkinson opened the meet with a 9.9 on vault to capture her third title in the event. She followed with a season-best score of 9.
