WACO, Texas – The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team made a statement Friday at the NCEA Championship, defeating No. 8 Kansas State 15-1 in the quarterfinals. The Tigers move on to the semifinal round of competition slated for Saturday at 8:30 a.m. CT in the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas.
"This was one of the best wins this program has had at the NCEA meet," head coach Greg Williams said. "We feel very good going into tomorrow. If we keep riding like have all year and today, we should be bearing down on a national championship.
