Auburn’s track and field team claimed seven gold medals, including one facility record, during the two-day Tiger Track Classic at Hutsell-Rosen Track.
Senior Rachel Dincoff won the women’s discuss with a throw of 54.07m and finished third in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 16.83m. Ivana Muszaric was third in the discus (49.96m).
“Overall, I’m pleased with the weekend,” Auburn head coach Ralph Spry said. “We had a lot of people win events, but some our marks were short of where we want to be. It was windy, so that was a factor on the oval races.
