Atlanta, Ga./Raleigh, N.C. - Auburn junior Veronica Eder smashed her personal-best time in the 10,000m by a minute en route to a third-place finish at the Raleigh Relays Friday to highlight Auburn’s first day of competition of the 2016 outdoor season. Eder’s time of 34:17.59 makes her the fourth-fastest performer in Auburn history in the women’s 10K and her early-season mark is the third fastest in the country.
At the Yellow Jacket Invitational, where a majority of the Auburn team is competing, senior Taylor Duncan and sophomore Kenzley Defler finished 1-2 in the women’s 5000m.
