With fall camp in full swing and high school football underway in many states in the southeast, recruiting has slowed down in recent weeks. However, that could soon be changing.
Yesterday, the NCAA announced that the dead period would extend until January 1st effectively ending any chance coaches will be able to meet with prospects on campus this fall. There’s been no news about the early signing period being pushed so there’s a very realistic chance many recruits will be signing with programs they never officially visited, some stepping on campus for the first time when they enroll.
