Senior Day on the Plains brought Missouri into town as Auburn looked to finish their regular season on a high note. Seniors T.J. Dunans, Ronnie Johnson and LaRon Smith made starts in their final Auburn home game at Auburn Arena.
Auburn shot 69% in the 1st half of this one scoring 54 1st half points with 6 players shooting 100% from the field in the half. Auburn led by as much as 20 in the 1st half and led 54-40 at half. Mustapha Heron led the way with 12 points and made a pair of 3-pointers.
Auburn only shot 40% in the 2nd half while Missouri made a couple of early 2nd half runs to close the gap to 8 and 7 respectively, but they couldn’t get any closer.
