Auburn got a big boost as Isaac Okoro returned from injury after missing the previous 3 games, a stretch that saw Auburn’s hopes of winning the SEC Regular Season Championship all but disappear.
But Okoro’s return was huge as the Tigers played Ole Miss before a rematch with Kentucky in Lexington in the next game.
Auburn’s first 8 points came in the paint courtesy of Danjel Purifoy and Austin Wiley, who had 4 apiece early. The Tigers would once again get a spark off the bench as Devan Cambridge knocked down the first 3 of the evening and Jaylin Williams had a pair of baskets including a putback dunk.
