AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn volleyball team was selected to finish the Southeastern Conference schedule in fifth according to the 2017 Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The selection marks the highest selection for the program under head coach Rick Nold.
“This group has very high expectations of themselves and we look forward to the elite level of competition the SEC provides,” Nold said. “We expect to be a team competing in the postseason and a successful SEC season will be crucial to reach that goal.”
The Tigers return four starters plus libero from the 2016 team that finished the season tied for fifth in the SEC at 9-9.
