Lazeroff, who had placed fifth on the 1-meter and 10th on the 3-meter, scored a 72.00 on an armstand back two somersault two-and-a-half twist free on his second dive and averaged a 65.94 over his six dives to finish runner-up.
Pete Turnham just missed a season-best on the platform, scoring a 308.50 to finish tied for eighth for his first top-eight finish of the weekend.
Carly Scheper was Auburn’s top finisher on the women’s side, scoring a 214.80 over five dives to finish 11th. On the weekend the senior placed fifth on the 3-meter and 11th on the 1-meter to go along with her platform showing.
