After Auburn’s 34-3 spread-covering victory over Arkansas last night, there was a lot of chatter about the offense. It didn’t look good. It did look bad. The sky is falling, etc., etc.
Valid complaints, but in the end one phase of the team struggled and the other two phases picked up the slack. The defense was fantastic, rotating in young guys who all made plays, while the special teams unit showed out as well thanks to Noah Igbinoghene’s kickoff return touchdown and Ryan Davis’ long punt returns.
Whatever you think, Auburn still has a top ten team and the one loss on the year came to the #5 team in the country by a point on the final play of the game.
