Auburn’s 23-9 loss to Mississippi State last night gave the Tigers a tumble in both the Associated Press and Coaches’ Polls this afternoon.
Here are the facts: Auburn gave up 323 rushing yards to the Bulldogs, failed to score an offensive touchdown, and looked lost at times on offense again in the defeat. That’s not the work of a top ten team, especially when the opponent had only scored 13 combined points in the previous two games.
You all seemed to enjoy our surprise last week when Auburn actually moved up in the rankings...
