Softball. Auburn Softball To Host Season-Long “Strike Out Hunger” Food Drive

AUBURN, Ala. – With the 2016 softball season just days away, the Tigers are quickly preparing for the tough competition, but they’re also looking to oust another tough foe this season; hunger.

All this season at Jane B. Moore Field, the Auburn softball team will be hosting a food drive to support the community and the Food Bank of East Alabama. Each person who brings a nonperishable food donation to any Auburn Softball home game will receive a $1 beverage coupon to use at the concession stands at Jane B. Moore Field.

Each month, the Food Bank distributes more than 375,000 pounds of food to a network of over 200 nonprofit partner agencies that provide food for families and individuals in need.
