Wendell Green Jr. had just thrown a lob to Devan Cambridge for the usual emphatic lob-to-Cambridge result, extending Auburn’s lead to 29-23, and forcing Nate Oats to call a timeout. As Green strode towards the bench one of his teammates met him at midcourt, snarling, chest-bumping, hype-manning Green to the fullest extent permissible.
