The scouting report is back baby! It’s a little abbreviated due to not having a ton of time nor there being a ton of film available on Southern Miss but it’s better than nothing right?
From 1994 to 2007 Jeff Bower produced a winning record every season for the Golden Eagles. Larry Fedora took over things in 2008 and took them to even greater heights including 12-2 campaign in 2011 before bolting for Chapel Hill.
Then disaster struck in the form of Ellis Johnson.
Somehow after going 12-2 in 2011, Johnson lead Southern Miss to a horrific 0-12 year in his one campaign as the Golden Eagles’ head coach.
