Former Auburn tight end Landon Rice has enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and joined the football team, AL.com reported Saturday night.
Rice was accused of rape by a female student and later left the football team in September for “personal reasons.” He has not been charged with any crime in regards to the alleged incident.
Rice’s accuser said she was raped by Rice on the evening of April 12 at South Donahue Residence Hall, an on-campus dorm. The accuser, who at least at the time was 19, later reported the allegation to Auburn police on July 27.
