Report: Former Auburn assistant Scott Fountain added to Georgia’s staff

Former Auburn special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Scott Fountain has been hired at Georgia, UGASports.com reported Thursday.

Fountain already has changed the information on his Twitter account to reflect that he is now part of Georgia’s football staff. His role on the Bulldogs staff remains unclear to this point.

Before taking on his on-field role at Auburn, he served as the Tigers’ director of player personnel from 2009-12. He left Auburn after the 2016 season, when he reportedly was moved to an analyst position.

Fountain was earning $325,000 a year as an assistant for the Tigers.
