Ex-Auburn special teams coordinator and tight ends coach Scott Fountain has been hired at Georgia according to UGASports.com.
Fountain has already changed the information on his Twitter account to reflect that he is now part of UGA’s football staff. His role is unclear at this time.
Prior to taking on his on-field role at Auburn, he served as their director of player personnel from 2009-2012. He left Auburn after the 2016 season when he was reportedly moved to an analyst position.
He was earning $325,000 a year as an assistant coach for the Tigers.
