Paul Finebaum is unimpressed with Hugh Freeze and his excuses for why the Auburn Tigers remain winless in the SEC. On Saturday night, AU moved to 0-3 in conference play after a 20-10 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs. That game, along with a 24-17 loss to the Oklahoma Sooners, was marred by notably horrific SEC officiating that cost Auburn in key moments.
Finebaum doesn't believe that should've defined the entire game for the Tigers to the degree they did.
“You can’t help but look at two games against Oklahoma and this (Georgia) game and go how in the world did Auburn keep getting bad calls, but I’ll tell you it doesn’t matter once the game is over,” Finebaum told Matt Barrie on Sunday.
