Within that total cost shown in the report — which was submitted to the NCAA — the school spent $353,474 in total transportation costs, including $276,703 on for the team and coaching staff, $66,335 on the band and cheerleaders and $10,435 on travel expenses for the school’s official party, which included faculty and athletic department staff.
There was an additional $924,687 spent in meals, lodging and per-diem expenses during the entirety of the trip, with $761,548 of that spent on the team and coaching staff. Other costs associated with the trip include: $8,776 spent on entertainment purposes, $5,606 on promoting the bowl game, $78,963 on awards and an additional $62,282 on equipment and supplies.
