The latest rankings came out earlier this afternoon, and after Auburn’s close loss to Kentucky over the weekend, it could’ve been a worse drop.
Auburn fell to #16 in the AP Poll after a 1-1 week that included an easy road win over Texas A&M and the Saturday defeat to the Wildcats. With no undefeated teams left in the country, there was a bit of a shakeup atop the rankings. Here’s the new top ten:
- Tennessee
- Duke
- Virginia
- Gonzaga
- Michigan
- Michigan State
- Nevada
- Kentucky
- Kansas
- Virginia Tech
Bruce Pearl’s guys are still the second-highest-ranked SEC team in the country, but we’ve got a March 9th date set with the new #1 team in the country.
