While Auburn fans don’t have a team to cheer for in this year’s NCAA March Madness, they do have a team to cheer against in the University of Alabama. The Tigers’ rival team from across the state pulled off a win in their first-round game over Iona.
Though the Crimson Tide will advance, they played a rough first half and went into halftime leading by only one point. Eventually, the Tide pulled away and held onto their lead to win 68-55, but the Iona boys played a game to be proud of.
