AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn concluded the men’s tennis regular season Sunday afternoon in a 4-3 loss to No. 5 Texas A&M at the Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas.
Texas A&M won the doubles point with victories on courts one and three, although Auburn tandem Carles Sarrio and Matteo De Vincentis were leading their match on court two against No. 89 A.J. Catanzariti and Valentin Vacherot by a 5-3 score when doubles play was clinched.
In singles, Sarrio and Brandon Laubser won the first sets of their matches, but the Aggies clinched the overall match with wins on courts three, two and one.
