Freshman Bryce Brown is hoping to one day place his name among the great marksmen who have worn the orange and blue before him.
That seemed like an unlikely proposition as late as September 2014. Brown committed to UNC Charlotte that month, and wasn’t receiving much attention from other programs. But that all changed when he attended Bruce Pearl’s Elite Camp just a month after committing to the 49ers after the Tigers’ coaches saw him on the summer tournament circuit.
