Scott Lazeroff and Alison Maillard each earned fourth-place finishes on the opening day of the 2018 Tennessee Diving Invitational.
Lazeroff scored a 369.15 on the 3-meter and Maillard a 292.05 on the 1-meter to pace the Auburn divers. Pete Turnham joined Lazeroff in the 3-meter finals, placing sixth with a score of 366.85 after entering the 12-man finals in 12th place.
“Overall a pretty successful day with Scott, Pete and Alison all advancing to finals,” Auburn diving coach Jeff Shaffer said. “Pete missed a reverse two-and-a-half poorly and was a little under-rotated on his last dive but was able to squeak into 12th-place and then rebounded to move up to sixth.
