ATHENS, Ga. – Kerryon Johnson rushed for 167 yards in Auburn’s win over then-No. 1 Georgia on November 11, and while Johnson was injured in the Tigers’ victory over Alabama, Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart said his team is preparing as if Johnson will play in Saturday’s SEC championship game.
“I fully expect him to play,” Smart said Monday during his weekly news conference.
Even if Johnson doesn’t play, Smart said, there is reason for the Bulldogs to worry.
