ATHENS, Ga. – Georgia coach Kirby Smart says he has one overriding memory of Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium – the “Kick-Six” in 2013, when Auburn stunned Alabama on the final play of the game on a 109-yard return of a missed field goal.
Smart takes his unbeaten and top-ranked Bulldogs team to Jordan-Hare this week, and he’s hoping the Bulldogs can extend their winning streak over the Tigers to four. He certainly doesn’t want anything close to a repeat of that famous Alabama-Auburn game in 2013, when he was the Tide’s defensive coordinator.
“That haunts you forever,” Smart admitted Tuesday after Georgia’s practice.
