Hugh Freeze called it, and now it's turning out exactly the way he predicted.
At the beginning of the 2025 season, Freeze stated with calm confidence that Jeremiah Cobb would have a breakout year. Fast forward to three weeks into the season, and the prediction is turning out precisely the way Freeze imagined it.
Cobb proved to be Auburn's offensive cornerstone in leading them to a 31-15 victory over South Alabama on Saturday. The standout RB finished his night with 119 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
"It's big. My prediction back in the summer and spring meetings -- that he would have a breakout year -- I think it's coming true," Freeze said in his post-game conference, beaming with pride.
