AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham was included on the list of semifinalists for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award on Wednesday.
The award is given annually to the nation’s outstanding offensive player who was either born in Texas, graduated from a Texas high school or played at a Texas-based junior college or four-year college. The player must also exhibit the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell, including integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, community, and tenacity.
Though Stidham was born in Kentucky, he played high school football in Stephenville, Texas where he threw for 6,516 yards and 80 touchdowns.
