TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts expressed much respect for an Auburn defensive line that will be coming after him in Saturday’s Iron Bowl.
“It’s always a challenge,” Hurts said Monday. “It won’t be the first time we’ve faced a really, really good d-line. They’re a really, really, really good one. We’re going to have to prepare. We’ll have to try and execute the best way we can.”
So I quickly thought, “Hmm – wonder what’s the best defensive line he’s faced this season?”
Hurts scrambled out of the question.
“Ya’ll can decide that, not me,” Hurts said.
