Auburn has a chance to win their first SEC Championship today since 1999. Currently the Tigers are tied with Tennessee for first place in the conference. If Auburn beats South Carolina they will wrap up at least a portion of the title should the Vols lose to Georgia in Knoxville.
While No. 14 Auburn and No. 16 Tennessee would be co-champions if they both win or both lose, the Tigers could win the title outright with a Tennessee loss and an Auburn victory.
Auburn (24-6, 12-5) lost to the Gamecocks (16-14, 7-10) a little over two weeks ago but you’ve got to like the Tigers’ chances with a 14-1 home record.
