Injured Auburn football player undergoes surgery | Columbus Ledger-Enquirer

Auburn defensive back Jeremiah Dinson had surgery on his injured right shoulder this week, as first reported by 247 Sports’ Brandon Marcello. Dinson is expected to be back by Auburn’s fall camp, per AL.com.

Dinson left Auburn’s A-Day after the first play of the second quarter last Saturday. He had one tackle for loss in the scrimmage. During postgame interviews, Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn said Dinson “had a little shoulder issue” but did not know the severity of the injury.

Dinson played in all 14 games for the Tigers in 2017, making 11 starts at nickelback.
