Hundreds gather in Toomer's Corner for Auburn Oaks dedication ceremony

While the Auburn Oaks were planted in February, the University of Auburn officially celebrated the new live oak trees with a dedication ceremony on Saturday at Toomer's Corner.

Hundreds of Tigers filled the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and College Street to take part in the A-Day Corner Block Party, which include the dedication event for the Auburn Oaks and a free concert.

During the ceremony, which was led by Thom Gossom Jr., Head Football Coach Gus Malzahn talked about how the traditional of the trees is a uniquely Auburn experience and told attendees that there would be plenty of rollings in the future.
