Kirby Smart pulled a fast one on SEC officials on Saturday night during the fourth quarter of No. 10 Georgia's 20-10 victory over Auburn on Saturday.
The Bulldogs' head coach saw the play clock winding down and was running toward a line judge, seen motioning for a timeout to help save a five-yard penalty.
Well, the clock was stopped, but during the delay, Smart argued that he was mimicking a clap made by Auburn defenders before the snap. Somehow, the officials bought it, and instead of charging Georgia with a timeout, stopped the clock and gave them another play with absolutely no punishment.
