Auburn’s final home game of the season arrives this Saturday, with the Liberty Flames coming in to Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Gus Malzahn’s Tigers are... reeling? Is that the right word? Maybe not, but nobody feels good, and the head coach looked as lost as ever in his postgame press conference after Auburn fell to Georgia 27-10 last Saturday. All of the pieces are there, but it hasn’t happened, and I think the struggle to figure out exactly why things haven’t come together has weakened everyone on the team.
There were moments where you though that Auburn was perfectly capable of not only hanging with Georgia, but outright beating the Bulldogs in Athens.
