We’re now down to one final game in the 2020-2021 season for Auburn, and we’re mercifully done with tonight’s game that saw the Tigers slog through a loss in Tuscaloosa.
Auburn fell to Alabama 70-58 with Sharife Cooper missing yet another game due to injury, and the Tigers played through the sloppiest game of the season with 23 turnovers (a season high). The Tigers hit just 40% of their shots and made only 6 three-pointers, while the Tide made its hay off of Auburn’s mistakes, scoring 24 points off of turnovers.
Alabama wasn’t as hot as they’ve been this season, either, and the game wasn’t quite the offensive showdown that we saw a couple of months ago.
