Before we dive into Washington, here’s a little history lesson for you. The last time Auburn had a ranked non-conference matchup at home was February 1, 1987. On that day, #3 UNLV beat #18 Auburn 104-85 on their way to the Final Four where the Runnin’ Rebels lost to eventual National Champion Indiana. The last ranked non-conference team to visit Auburn was then Big 12 member #13 Texas A&M on December 22, 2006, a 87-58 Texas A&M win. The Tigers also hosted #2 Pittsburgh that same season, a 74-66 Pitt win on December 3, 2006. But enough history, onto the Huskies.
