Big news hit the Plains on Tuesday morning with the announcement of former USF quarterback Byrum Brown's commitment to his former coach Alex Golesh and the Auburn Tigers.
Brown, a senior who spent the past four seasons at USF will have one year of eligibility remaining, and he will spend it in orange and blue. He led the nation in total offense last season, racking up 3,158 passing yards and 28 touchdowns, his longest pass completed at 66 yards. He rushed for an additional 1,008 yards and 14 touchdowns, meaning he recorded over 4,000 offensive yards in the 2025 season alone.
