Former Auburn wide receiver coach Ike Hilliard is out of a job after being fired by the Atlanta Falcons on Monday. This comes after a rough start to the 2025 NFL season by the Falcons' receivers, especially in a 30-0 shutout loss to the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday.
Hilliard spent one season on the Plains, and it was a memorable one. Hired to coach Auburn's wide receivers by Bryan Harsin prior to the 2022 season, he saw his status get upgraded to interim co-offensive coordinator alongside Will Friend following the dismissal of Harsin and then-offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau.
