Auburn’s new coaching staff has had no reservations about utilizing the transfer portal to augment holes in the 2021 depth chart. They’ve added potential impact players to the quarterback, running back, defensive line, outside linebacker, and defensive back rooms this off-season. Now they are hoping to provide this talented but very inexperienced wide receiver group with a veteran leader as this afternoon former 5-star wide receiver Demetris Robertson announced his intentions to use his last year of eligibility on the Plains.
Robertson might be the most interesting portal addition this off-season. He was the #1 ranked WR in the 2016 class and #13 player overall.
