AUBURN, Ala. u2015 John Franklin III is the new guy, and he wants Sean White and Jeremy Johnson's job.
But don't think there's any hard feelings in the Auburn quarterback race that had a stopover in the Tigers' A-Day Game in Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday. All three got their chances, all three had their moments, and all three left the field unsure whether they had done enough to win the starting job.
Certainly, coach Gus Malzahn didn't hint who was ahead after a 19-10 Blue victory over the White team in a game highlighted by five Daniel Carlson field goals and steady defensive play.
