“We are not going to tolerate anything less than the best effort you have,” said Auburn Defensive Coordinator Kevin Steele after Auburn’s 12th spring practice. “We came into it and preached every single day, all day long, that we are going to play with extreme effort.”
Steele met the press Tuesday afternoon and said his players have bought into his philosophy. “It’s been a process, but we are starting to see the results of that.”
Listening to his presser, it appears the defensive coaches have gone old school in trying to instill complete effort, toughness and perseverance in the defense.
