AUBURN, Ala. – Veronica Eder broke the Auburn and facility records in the women’s 5000 meters on day one of the War Eagle Invitational on Friday at Hutsell-Rosen Track. Eder’s mark broke a six-year record previous held by Holly Knight.
On the night, Auburn posted three event wins and four personal bests.
“We had some great weather and some strong performances to open up on day one,” Auburn head coach Ralph Spry said. “I am extremely proud of Veronica Eder, with another school record. She has become one of the top runners we’ve ever had at Auburn.
