Deuce Knight might not get his first collegiate start on Saturday in Auburn's matchup against Mercer, but the freshman quarterback will definitely see the field for the second time this season.
In what seems like a decade ago when the Tigers were 1-0 coming off an impressive win at Baylor to open the season and Hugh Freeze was the head coach, Knight saw his first action in an Auburn uniform in mop-up duty in a 42-3 win against Ball State. The 5-star signee didn't exactly light it up, completing 2-of-5 passes for 20 yards while running it four times for 16 yards, but again, it was his debut.
