AUBURN, Ala. - Mustapha Heron might play two positions for Auburn’s basketball team when the Tigers travel to Italy: guard and guide.
Heron’s been there before. As a high school junior, he played for the U18 U.S. Select Team in Treviso, Italy, going 3-0 against a European All-Star team and teams from Greece and France.
“I’m just looking forward to a great experience,” said Heron, who earned Freshman All-SEC honors after averaging 15.2 points and 6.1 rebounds last season. “I would like to be able to show my teammates some of what I’ve seen.
