Desean Murray joins an increasingly long list of Tigers to leave or consider leaving the program.
The decision appears to be amicable, and probably stems from the fact that there won’t be as much playing time at forward next season. Though he wasn’t expected to be counted on as a starter before last season began, Murray ended up starting all 34 games for the Tigers this season after transferring from Presbyterian. After averaging over 20 ppg his sophomore season at Presbyterian, Murray came into a deep SEC and put up a solid 10.1 points/6.7 rebounds per game this past season.
