Earlier today, former defensive lineman Daquan Newkirk declared he will be leaving the Auburn football program and joining the Florida Gators, becoming the first in what could be a long list of Auburn Tigers migrating south to Gainesville.
Today, former Auburn football defensive lineman Daquan Newkirk announced his “coming home” to the Florida Gators via Twitter. Newkirk started all regular-season games for the Tigers in 2020, recorded 28 tackles, and will be a graduate transfer at the University of Florida.
